USCIS updating numerous forms to eliminate public charge references

US Citizenship and Immigration Services announced updates to numerous immigration forms on March 19, 2021. The forms are being updated to remove references to and requirements for the public charge regulation, which was recently vacated.

The forms being updated include:

  • I-129
  • I-129CW
  • I-129CWR
  • I-485
  • I-485 Supplement A
  • I-485 Supplement J
  • I-864
  • I-864A
  • I-864EZ
  • I-864W
  • I-539
  • I-539A
  • I-912
  • G-1055

The new edition date of these forms is March 10, 2021. Most of these forms will be required as of April 19, 2021.
